Making a Website
Why would you do that?
Why not? I have wanted to make a website to post all of the resources I have used to learn cool and interesting things.
TL;DR
What is TL;DR?
TL;DR is a popular section of most project posts online, standing for "too long; didn't read," that summarizes how the project is done and is likely the only section you should actually read.
How easy was this to setup?
I am hosting this website through Hostinger. They have some pretty good packages that will host the website and deal with all of the management behind it with some overhead fees. I paid $100 for 4 years for 100 websites and it came with the domain and they are hosting on their webservers so there was pretty much no work on my side other than creating this website.
Is there a completely free way to do this?
YES! However, this method will require some hardware, such as a RaspberryPi or on old computer hooked up to the wall and you will not have a domain name. With the free method it will be hard for the public to access your site and you could potentially be exposing your home network to vulnerability.
Why not make a website for free? You know about computers.
Hosting a website through a webhosting site does cost some money, and it causes the same pain as paying $0.99 on the Appstore, but a lot of the headache of hosting and designing a website is waived. Moreover, using a website service makes creating pages much easier and I do not have to hassle with HTML or JavaScript.
How do I learn to make a website?
Checkout one of the videos that I have below. The NetworkChuck videos are pretty much the same and the article has another video on it on how to host your own server with a Raspberrypi.
