    conversion strategies for SATCOM systems.

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory

At JHUAPL I got to work on the software and hardware side of radar development. Also, since JHUAPL is associated with the university, they put a high priority on learning and I had the opportunity to take classes that taught practical and technical skills

  • Studied lecture notes, videos, and problem sets to follow "EW 101: A First Course in Electronic Warfare"

  • Modeled and optimized form factor baluns for wideband antennas across multiple CEM software

  • Programmed a Pulse Doppler Radar equipped with CFAR algorithms. Implemented on FPGA with Python GUI.

  • I learned to handle and maintain fabrication equipment such as 3D printers, Laser cutters, and PCB milling.

  • Used Git to coordinate edits to larger projects

  • Created Excel macros to speed up the analysis and presentation of large sets of Acceptance Test Procedures

  • Created and troubleshoot a Software Defined Radio to track ADS-B and accumulate data
